2017: Bates Female Athlete of the Year.... Earned her first career All-America honor, finishing 16th among 279 individuals overall at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships.... Cook covered the 6-kilometer course at Principia College's North Farm Course in 21:07.4, right behind 15th-place finisher Paige Lawler from Washington University and 28.2 seconds behind overall champion Khia Kurtenbach of Chicago.... She was fourth among runners from the New England Region, just as she finished fourth at NCAA Regionals.... The team captain's top-40 placement makes her the program's fifth All-American and the first since Kathryn Moore '07 in 2006.... While Bates was not invited to the meet as a team in spite of its outstanding credentials, Cook finished off one of the best individual seasons in program history in style.... Earlier in the season, Cook won the Maine state championship, finished fourth at the NESCAC Championships to earn First Team All-NESCAC honors; and finished fourth at New England Regionals to win her second career cross country All-New England award.... Cook joins Moore, Adelia Myrick '99, Kristy Gould '93 and Rebecca Watt '85 in the ranks of Bates women's cross country All-Americans.
2016: Helped Bates finish 19th at the NCAA Championships, finishing 157th out of 280 runners.... It was Bates' fourth time competing at the NCAA Cross Country Championships as a team -- previous excursions netted a 19th-place team finish in 2012, 15th place in 1997 and 18th place in 1995.
2015: Second on the team at NCAA Regionals, placing 58th out of 390 individuals in 22:59.1 to help Bates finish 12th out of 56 teams.... Third on team at NESCAC Championships, finishing 25th out of 123 runners in 22:57.6 to help Bates place fifth as a team.... Second on team at Maine State Championships, placing eighth out of 182 runners in 18:46.6 over 5 kilometers.
2014: Fourth on team at NCAA Regionals, placing 84th out of 387 individuals in 23:55.3, helping Bates place 10th out of 57 teams.... Fifth on team at NESCAC Championships at Middlebury, placing 44th out of 121 individuals in 24:23.5, helping Bates place sixth as a team.... Fifth on team at Maine State Championships, placing 17th out of 144 runners in 20:33.
