Biography
2015-16: Broke his own team record in the 200 breaststroke in NESCAC Championship trials and then notching his first career All-NESCAC honor by placing third in the championship final. Walpole lowered the record from 2:05.76, set a year ago, to 2:04.03. His 2:05.48 in the championship final, an NCAA B-cut time, edged Bowdoin's Mike Netto by 0.03 seconds for the third and final All-NESCAC finish in the event.... Took seventh place in the NESCAC championship final of the 100 breaststroke with a time of 57.31 seconds.... NESCAC Winter All-Academic.... Received CSCAA Scholar Honorable Mention All-America honors, recognizing students that have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and have participated in their respective NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
