One of the great divers in Bates history, Andrew Hastings '02 joins the Bates coaching staff in 2023.
A seven-time All-American, Hastings finished as high as fourth in the country in both 1-meter and 3-meter diving during his time as a Bobcat.Â
He was a two-time All-NESCAC performer and four-time All-New England honoree, including winning the New England title in the three-meter event as a first-year diver in 1999.Â
Hastings earned a degree in philosophy from Bates and a J.D. from the University of Maine, where he graduated Cum Laude. He is currently an attorney in Portland.
