Biography
Upon graduation in 2020, Duren ranks in the top 10 all-time at Bates in these events:
200-yard butterfly, 4th (2:07.87).
100-yard butterfly, 7th (57.71).
50-yard butterfly relay split, 10th (26.29).
Career: One of 48 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better.Â
2019-20: Team captain.... NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... Helped Bates win the 200-yard medley relay against Colby.... Finished second in the 200 butterfly (2:12.20) and was eighth in the 100 butterfly (1:00.16) at the Maine State Meet.
2018-19:Â NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... Placed 15th in the 200-yard butterfly, with a time of 2:09.84 at the NESCAC Championships.
2017-18: NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... Touched the wall seventh in the 200-yard butterfly, finishing in 2:08.33 at the NESCAC Championships.
2016-17: Took 16th place in the 200-yard butterfly at the NESCAC Championships with a time of 2:12.22.Â
