Biography

Career: One of 89 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better. 

2022-23: College Rowing Coaches Association National Scholar Athlete.... NIRC All-Academic selection...NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Rowed in the four seat of the first varsity eight at the NCAA Championships, as the Bates 1V qualified for the grand final and the Bobcats finished fourth overall as a team (May 27).... Connors was in the four seat of the 1V at the National Invitational Rowing Championship, helping the Bobcats qualify for the grand final at NIRCs (May 12).... With Connors in the four seat, the 1V had their most successful race of the championship season when they earned a bronze medal at the New England Rowing Championship (May 6).... Rowed in the six seat of the first varsity eight as the Bobcats finished fourth place in the Collegiate Eights race at the Head of the Charles Regatta (Oct. 23).

2021-22: College Rowing Coaches Association National Scholar Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Rowed in the second seat for Bates' bronze-medal winning first varsity eight at the NCAA Championships as the Bobcats finished national runner-up (May 28).... Rowed in the second seat of the first varsity eight as the Bobcats captured the NESCAC title and the overall points trophy at the National Invitational Rowing Championships (May 8).

2020-21: College Rowing Coaches Association National Scholar Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Rowed in the fourth seat for Bates' gold-medal winning second varsity eight as the Bobcats captured the 2021 NCAA Division III Rowing Championship, their fifth national title in the last six seasons (May 29).

2019-20: Spring season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
