Biography

Career: One of 92 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better. 

2023-24: College Rowing Coaches Association National Scholar Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Rowed in the sixth seat of the second varsity eight as the Bobcats emerged victorious in the petite final of the National Invitational Rowing Championship (May 12).... Rowed in the sixth seat of the first varsity eight as Bates placed second in the petite final at the New England Rowing Championship (May 4).

2022-23: First Team All-America.... First Team All-NESCAC.... College Rowing Coaches Association National Scholar Athlete.... NIRC All-Academic selection.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Rowed in the sixth seat of the first varsity eight at the NCAA Championships, as the Bates 1V qualified for the grand final and the Bobcats finished fourth overall as a team (May 26-27).... Dickson was in the sixth seat of the 1V at the National Invitational Rowing Championship, helping the Bobcats qualify for the grand final at NIRCs (May 12).... With Dickson in the sixth seat, the 1V had their most successful race of the championship season when they earned a bronze medal at the New England Rowing Championship (May 6).... Rowed in the stroke seat for the first varsity eight, helping the Bobcats finish fourth in the Collegiate Eights race at the Head of the Charles regatta (Oct. 23). 

2021-22: Rowed in the four seat for the bronze-medal winning first varsity eight as the Bobcats finished national runner-up at the NCAA Championships (May 27-28).... Rowed in the four seat for the first varsity eight as the Bobcats captured the NESCAC championship and won the overall points title at the National Invitational Rowing Championship (May 8).

2020-21: Did not race for the NCAA champion Bobcats in a modified season.

Personal: 2020 graduate of Kent School (Conn.) where she competed in rowing, cross country, and swimming.

Hobbies: Hiking, scuba diving, biking, swimming
