Olivia Skillings will serve as the assistant Nordic skiing coach after graduating from Bates in 2022 as one of 92 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better.
She was a team captain her senior year and a three-time NESCAC All-Academic selection. Skillings ranked 33rd in the EISA in freestyle races and 34th in classical technique races as a senior.
Hailing from Portland, Maine, Skillings graduated from Maine Coast Waldorf School before matriculating to Bates.
