Indoor Highlights: Ran a career-best time of 8.72 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles at the New England Division III Championships.... Placed second in the high jump (5-10.75) at the Bowdoin Invitational.... Placed third in the long jump (21-2.5), fourth in the high jump (6-2.75), fourth in the 60-meter hurdles (8.85 seconds) and fourth in the triple jumps (career-best 42-10.75) at the Maine State Meet.... Won the high jump (6-0.75) at the Bates Invitational.
2019
Outdoor Highlights: Tied for 12th place in the high jump (6-2) at the New England Division III Championships.... Took second place in the high jump at the NESCAC Championships by clearing the bar at 6-4.75, earning All-NESCAC honors for the top-three finish, the third of his career.... Kimpolo-Pene helped Bates place seventh at NESCACs in the 4x100 relay with a time of 44.83 seconds and he finished seventh individually in the 110-meter high hurdles with a time of 16.30 seconds in the finals, after posting a time of 15.99 seconds in trials.... Placed second in the 110-meter hurdles (16.36), third in the high jump (6-4.75) and fifth in the triple jump (40-9.75) at the Maine State Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships.... Helped Bates place second in the 4x100 relay at the UNH Wildcat Invitational.... Placed third in the 110-meter hurdles (16.07) at the Bates, RPI, MIT, Tufts Quad Meet.

Won the high jump (6-2.75) at the Bowdoin Invitational.... Won the state title in the high jump (6-2.75), took third place in the 55-meter hurdles (personal-best 8.09 seconds), fourth place in the long jump (personal-best 21-10.75) and fifth place in the triple jump (personal-best 41-7) at the Maine State Men's Indoor Championships.... Took first place in the long jump (20-9.75), placed second in the 55-meter hurdles (8.13), and placed fifth in the high jump (6-0.75) at the USM Invitational.... Won the 60-meter hurdles in 8.89 seconds at the Bates Invitational.
2018
Outdoor Highlights: Took third place in the high jump after clearing the bar at 1.96 meters (6-5) at Open New Englands.... Took sixth place in the high jump at the New England Division III Outdoor Championships, clearing the bar at 6 feet, 5 inches (6-5).... Recorded a career-best time of 15.50 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles at New Englands, placing 10th out of 30 athletes.... He also placed 15th in the long jump (21-2.5).... Cleared the high-jump bar at a season-best 6 feet and 6 inches at the NESCAC Championships to place second behind Tufts senior Stefan Duvivier (6-8), four inches higher than third-place.... Helped Bates take eighth in the 4x100 relay at NESCACs.... Tied for second place in the high jump, clearing the bar at 6 feet and 2 inches at the Maine State Meet.... He was also third in the 110-meter hurdles (15.46) and fourth in the long jump (21-10.25).... Took first place in the high jump among five competitors at the UNH Wildcat Invitational, clearing the bar at 6-4.75.... Kimpolo-Pene also placed third in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.78 seconds.
Indoor Highlights: Finished the season ranked 50th in the country in the high jump.... Cleared the bar at 6-6 to win the high jump, tying his personal indoor best at the Maine State Open.... Won the high jump (6-4), placed third in the 60-meter hurdles (personal-best 8.75 seconds) and was fourth in the long jump (20-10.75) at the Maine State Indoor Championships.... Took second in the high jump (6-2) and third in the long jump (20-8.5) at the USM Invitational.... Won the high jump at 1.88 meters and was third in the long jump (6.22) at the Bates Invitational.... Placed second in the 60-meter hurdles (9.02) at the Bates-Colby-MIT Tri-Meet.
2017
Outdoor Highlights: At the MIT Final Qualifying Meet, Kimpolo high-jumped a career-best 6 feet, 7.5 inches.... The effort moved Kimpolo-Pene from fifth place on Bates' all-time performance list into a tie for second place with Peter Kipp's mark from 1978. Only Matt Schecter '89 is ahead of Kimpolo, with his Bates-record height of 6-10.... Helped Bates place sixth in the 4x100 relay in 42.63 seconds at the New England Division III Outdoor Championships.... Tied for fifth place in the high jump (6-2), placed eighth in the 110-meter hurdles in a season-best (non-wind-aided) time of 15.56 seconds and helped Bates place third in the 4x100 relay at the NESCAC Championships.... Won the high jump (6-4), placed fifth in the long jump (21-4), sixth in the 110-meter hurdles (16.13) and helped Bates place second in the 4x100 relay at the Maine State Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships.... Took second place in the high jump (6-4.75) and fifth in the long jump (21-1.5) at the UNH Wildcat Invitational.... Came in third in the 110-meter hurdles (15.34), third in the high jump (6-2) and helped Bates come in second in the 4x100 relay (43.42) in a meet with MIT, Tufts and RPI.... In the first meet of the outdoor season against Maine and New Hampshire, Kimpolo won four events.... He won the high jump and landed in fifth place on Bates' all-time performance list in the event by clearing the bar at 6-4.75.... Kimpolo also won the long jump with a top distance of 20 feet, 5.25 inches reached on his final attempt, three inches beyond Maine's Troy Davis.... In the 110-meter high hurdles, Kimpolo-Pene crossed the finish line in 16.20 seconds, 0.05 ahead of runner-up Elijah Yeboah of Maine.... Kimpolo-Pene also helped Bates win first place in the 4x100 relay.
Indoor Highlights: Finished in a five-way tie for eighth place in the high jump after clearing the bar at 6-4.25 at Open New Englands.... Placed second in the high jump at the New England Division III Men's Indoor Track & Field Championships, clearing the bar at a season-best 6-6 and moving from ninth place on Bates' all-time performance list in the event into a tie for seventh place.... Ran the 60-meter hurdles in 8.85 seconds, moving into a tie for sixth place on Bates' all-time performance list in the event and matched his season-best high jump, clearing the bar at 6-4.75 at Boston University's David Hemery Valentine Invitational.... Won the high jump, as the only competitor to clear the bar at 6-4 and placed fifth in the 60-meter hurdles (8.77) to help Bates win the Maine State Men's Indoor Championship.... Moved onto Bates' all-time performance list in the high jump, into ninth place, with a top effort of 6-4.75 at the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University.... Placed second in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.85 seconds and placed second in the high jump at 6 feet, 4 inches at the Bates Invitational.... Placed second in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.94 seconds and second in the high jump at 6 feet, 2 inches against MIT and Colby in his first collegiate track meet.
