2016-17: ITA Division III All-American in doubles.... Second Team All-NESCAC in doubles with Ben Rosen '18.... One of 38 Bates graduates to receive the Senior Scholar Award from the Bates Department of Athletics.... ITA All-Academic Scholar Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Finished the year with Rosen as the 9th ranked doubles team in all of Division III.... Signature wins: an 8-3 victory over No. 20 Brandeis' No. 22 nationally ranked doubles team of Michael Arguello and Ryan Bunis.... Defeated No. 17 nationally ranked Tufts University's No. 17 ranked doubles team of Rohan Gupte and Zain Ali by a count of 9-8 (5).... Knocked off the No. 15 nationally ranked doubles team of No. 4 nationally ranked Bowdoin, Luke Tercek and Grant Urken, by a count of 9-7 on April 26, 2017 and by a score of 8-3 in the NESCAC Championships on May 5, 2017.... In singles, Ellis advanced to the round of 16 at the 2016 ITA Division III Men's New England Regional Championship.... In the spring, Ellis played at the No. 2 position in singles and posted a record of 8-0.... Signature wins included a 6-2, 6-0 victory over No. 24 nationally ranked Philipp Sibbel of Westmont College (Feb. 19).... Earned a hard-fought 6-4, 3-6, 10-5 win over Alex Cauneac of No. 21 MIT (March 4).... Won in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2, over Scott Thygesen of No. 18 Johns Hopkins University (March 25).... Prevailed 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 over Brian Granoff of No. 20 Brandeis University (April 1).... Earned a huge 6-2, 6-3 victory over No. 15 nationally ranked Grant Urken to help Bates upset No. 4 nationally ranked Bowdon (April 26).

2015-16: First Team All-NESCAC doubles team with Ben Rosen '18.... ITA All-Academic Scholar Athlete.... Ellis and Rosen had a final ITA regional ranking of No. 8 in the Northeast Region, while Ellis was rated No. 25 among Northeast singles players.... Posted an 11-5 record at No. 1 doubles.... Signature win came against the No. 17 nationally ranked doubles team from MIT of Brian Lilley and Alex Cauneac on March 5, 2016, an 8-2 victory.... Played most of the season at No. 2 singles, compiling a record of 7-9 in dual matches.... Defeated Joey Dulle of No. 18 Redlands 3-6, 6-3, 10-4 at No. 1 singles on Feb. 27, 2016.... Defeated Kevin Wang of No. 19 MIT 7-6 (3), 6-7 (4), 6-4 at No. 1 singles on March 5, 2016.... Defeated John Larkin of No. 26 Swarthmore College 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 at No. 2 singles on March, 18, 2016.... Defeated David Lunding-Johansson of No. 27 Mary Washington 6-1, 3-6,7-6 (1) at No. 2 singles on March 19, 2016.... Defeated Michael Solimano of No. 15 Amherst 7-5, 6-7, 11-9 at No. 2 singles on April 8, 2016.

2014-15: All-American and First Team All-NESCAC doubles team with Pierre Planche '15.... Advanced to the Round of 16 in the NCAA Doubles Championships..... Won the Middlebury Invitational in the fall, defeating doubles teams from No. 13 Tufts, No. 21 Skidmore, No. 29 Trinity and No. 3 Middlebury along the way.... Also won the 2014 USTA/ITA Division III Men's New England Championship, defeating the No. 20 nationally ranked doubles team of Aaron Revzin and Michael Solimano from No. 15 Amherst College by a score of 6-2, 7-6 (5) in the championship match on Sept. 28, 2014..... Went 9-8 at the No. 1 doubles position in dual matches.... Signature victory was a 9-8 (5) win over the No. 4 nationally ranked doubles team of Luke Trinka and Luke Tercek from No. 1 nationally ranked Bowdoin.... Played the entire season at No. 2 singles for Bates.... Finished the year with a record of 7-10 in dual matches.... Defeated No. 41 nationally ranked Palmer Campbell of No. 3 Middlebury in the fall at the Middlebury Invitational by a score of 1-6,7-5,10-3.... Signature singles victory in dual matches came against No. 12 nationally ranked Steven Chen of No. 10 Wesleyan, a 6-3, 6-2 win for Ellis on March 29, 2015. 

2013-14: Went 9-8 in singles, primarily at No. 3.... Finished 7-8 in doubles, mostly at No. 3.
