Biography

2007-2008: Co-captain.... Ranked ninth in the College Squash Association's April Individual men's squash listing....Top 16 at CSA Nationals..... Received the Skillman Award, the highest honor in college squash, given to the most complete male player....Named to the first-ever, 10-player NESCAC Men's Squash All-Conference Team..... No. 1 player for Bates.... Earned a 18-5record while playing against each opponent's No. 1 player for the fourth consecutive year, later avenging two of his losses in rematches during the College Squash Association Team Nationals.... Defeated Hameed Ahmed of Rochester  in the CSA Men’s Team Nationals Hoehn Cup Final at Harvard University (10-9, 9-5, 9-1).

 

2005-06: As co-captain, advanced to the round of 16 at College Squash Association Individual Nationals,earning All-America honors for the second consecutive year.... On the weekend of Yale Round Robin, Ricky went 5-1, including his first loss of the season against one of the premier players in the country, Yale's Julian Illingsworth.... Won the annual Maine open tournament with no losses.... Played on the El Salvador National team winning a silver medal in Nov. 2005.

 

2004-05: Advanced to the round of 32 at College Squash Association Individual Nationals to become the first Bates male to earn All-America honors.... Won Bates College's Male Athlete of the Year award.
