2016: Team Captain.
2015: Fourth on team at NCAA New England Regionals, placing 56th overall (25:56).... Sixth on team at NESCAC Championships, 49th out of 129 overall in 26:35.00.... Third on team at NESCAC Championships, 44th out of 129 overall in 26:29.56.... Finished in seventh place out of 177 athletes overall at Maine State Championship, covering the 8-kilometer course in 25:33.4 to nab All-State honors and helping to lead Bates to its second straight state title.... NESCAC All-Academic selection.... One of six team members to earn USTFCCCA individual All-Academic honors, for a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and a finish in the top 25 percent at NCAA Regionals.
2014: Sixth on team and 87th out of 373 runners overall at NCAA New England Regionals at Williams, in 27:13.7.... NESCAC Fall All-Academic.
Major: English and Mathematics
Academic achievements: Twice named to the Dean's List, and presented a paper, "The Price of Virginity: Sexual Economy in Chaucer's 'The Physician's Tale'" Proud English and Mathematics major with a GEC in Religious Studies. Currently writing an English thesis on Early Modern writer, Ben Jonson.
Athletic achievements: All ECAC Cross Country Team 2014. All-State of Maine Cross Country Team 2015, All Division III New England 5000m Outdoor Track 2016. Personal Records: 1500m 4:03 3000m SC 9:29, 5000m 14:58, 10,000m 31:27.

Hopes, Dreams and Aspirations: Michael would love to run into the fall sunset with Joe Doyle, preferably during a long run on a dirt road somewhere with Coach Fresh and Goewey waiting with some post-run carbohydrate replacement, so we can get through working through that process and go from there.
