Followed up his stellar round of 74 on Saturday with an 83 on Sunday, tying for 13th place with a two-day score of 157 as Bates took second at the Maine State Championships, the Bobcats' best finish in over a decade.... Shot a two-day score of 151 to take 14th place at the Husson Invitational.... Shot a two-day score of 172 for 40th place at the NESCAC Fall Qualifier.... Teamed with Arjun Bakshi to shoot a 73, helping Bates win the Colby College Classic at the Waterville Country Club.... Shot a 78 to help Bates win the CBB tournament for the third time in the last four years.... Shot a 1-over-par 73 to tie for third place out of 94 individuals on the first day of the 83rd New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championships.... Led the Bobcats over the two days with a cumulative score of 153, carding an 80 Monday after Sunday's scorching round of 73 had him tied for third place.... Pierce finished with 25 pars over the two days, tying for the fourth most in the field.... He also recorded one of nine eagles in the tournament.
2016: Led the Bobcats at the Husson Invitational by firing a 77 on Saturday and a 74 Sunday, tying for sixth place out of 47 individuals with a two-day score of 151.... Shot an 81 at the fall NESCAC qualifier to finish tied for 41st place at 163.... Teamed with first-year Julien Lewin and tallied a score of 72, tying them for the low round of the Colby Classic.
2015: Fired a 76 on the first day of the season-opening Bowdoin Invitational, leading the Bates men's golf team to ninth place among 11 teams.... Finished the Bowdoin Invitational at a team-best 155, tying for 15th place overall, following up Saturday's 76 with a 79, helping Bates to a seventh place finish.... Tied for 34th at the two-day Maine State Championships with a combined score of 166.... Submitted a 184 over two days as Bates finished seventh at the NESCAC Fall Qualifier.... Led the Bobcats with a score of 81 four off of the individual leader, helping Bates win the CBB tournament for the second straight year.
2014: Carded an 87 in his collegiate debut at the Bowdoin Invitational.... Carded an 83 on the second day of the Bowdoin Invitational, helping Bates finish fourth out of 12 teams.... Tied for 18th place with an 88 at the MMA Invitational.... Completed the team scoring at the CBB tournament with an 80, five strokes better than either opponent's fifth scorer, helping Bates win the team title by 13 strokes.
