Bates College

Hohlt spent 15 years as the head field hockey coach at Bates. Her teams made four NESCAC Tournament appearances and three ECAC Tournament appearances under her direction. Hohlt guided two All-NFHCA All-Americans, 16 NFHCA All-Regional selections, seven NESCAC All-Conference honorees, 40 NFHCA All Academic Squad members, five NFHCA All-Academic Team award winners, 11 NESCAC All-Academic selections, one Verizon/CoSIDA Academic All-American and one NCAA Woman of the Year for the state of Maine.

In addition to her field hockey role at Bates, Hohlt spent time as the institution's assistant coach for men’s and women’s squash (2006-09) and was the head coach of the women’s lacrosse team (1998-06).
 
Hohlt started her coaching career at Plymouth State College in 1992. She led the Panther field hockey program to a 78-33-1 record with five postseason berths in six seasons.

Over her career, she has been on the NFHCA Division III Coach of the Year Committee, the NCAA Regional Committee, the New England West All-American Committee, the Chair of NFHCA Coach of the Year Committee, the Northeast Regional All-American Committee and the NFHCA Ethics Committee. For lacrosse, Hohlt was on the IWLCA Academic All-American Committee, the NCAA Regional Committee and the New England Regional All-American Committee.

Hohlt was an Associate Professor for Physical Education at Bates from 1998-12 and was an Instructor for Health, Recreation and Physical Education at Plymouth State from 1992-98.

She graduated from Williams College in 1989, where she was a Regional All-American and team captain for both the field hockey and lacrosse teams. She later earned a master’s degree in exercise and sports studies from Smith College.
