Skill or hobby you've always wanted to learn? I have started learning skateboarding, but always love to progress on four wheels. I also want to learn video editing/cinematography.
Favorite quote or motto? Live with your glass half full
If you could have one superpower, what would it be? I would want to fly - ski racing gets me pretty close sometimes though
If you could give advice to your younger self, what would it be? Give everything 110% - nothing comes easy, but having a good work ethic will really help.
Describe a place you've visited that left a lasting impression on you. Saas-Fee, Switzerland. The whole town is very isolated and very self-sufficient. It was cool to be in a place where everyone was one big family and didn’t need help from the outside world. I also met a lot of my ski racing idols there, and got to train alongside them.
TV show you could watch over and over? Trailer Park Boys
What’s the most unusual food you’ve ever tried? Escargot
Why Bates? Bates fulfilled my dream ever since I started skiing - competing at the highest collegiate level of racing. I’m also starting college unsure what I want to major in, so Bates has a lot of different things for me to try out and a very customizable academic experience. Plus, the food is supposedly some of the best a college can offer!
