2016-17: ITA Division III All-American in singles and doubles.... First Team All-NESCAC in singles.... Second Team All-NESCAC in doubles with Chris Ellis '17.... Rosen went 12-5 at the No. 1 singles position for the No. 18 nationally ranked Bobcats, including a 12-1 mark in his last 13 regular season matches.... Competed at the D-III NCAA Men's Individual Championships for the second straight year, losing in three sets to eventual national runner-up Nikolai Parodi.... Finished the season ranked as the 14th best D-III singles player in the country.... Won 11 consecutive singles matches from March 12-April 26, 2017.... Signature wins: Defeated No. 40 Carl Reid of No. 33 Colby College 6-3, 6-1 on April 5, 2017.... Defeated #38 Zach Bessette of No. 8 Amherst College 2-6, 6-2, 6-3 on April 18, 2017.... Defeated #23 Luke Tercek of No. 4 Bowdoin College 6-1, 6-1 on April 26, 2017 and 6-0, 6-4 in the NESCAC Championships on May 5, 2017.... 2015-16: Advanced to the NCAA singles championships quarterfinals.... Bates' first singles All-American since Rob Crampton '13.... First Team All-NESCAC in singles....First Team All-NESCAC doubles team with Chris Ellis '17.... Rosen had an exceptional sophomore year, beginning with his leap up from playing as Bates' No. 5 singles player as a first-year student to No. 1 in the fall of 2015. He advanced to the semifinals of Bates' Wallach Invitational in October 2015, and went on to thrive in dual-match competition as well, amassing a 19-8 singles record overall (12-4 in dual matches), with all but three victories at the No. 1 position.... Rosen and Ellis had a final ITA regional doubles ranking of No. 8 in the Northeast Region.... Posted an 11-5 record at No. 1 doubles in dual matches.... Signature win came against the No. 17 nationally ranked doubles team of Brian Lilley and Alex Cauneac from MIT on March 5, 2016, an 8-2 victory.... Teamed with Fergus Scott '17 in the fall to advance to the semifinals of the Wallach Invitational, defeating opponents from No. 29 Trinity and No. 30 Brandeis along the way.... Opened fall play in singles by defeating No. 8 nationally ranked Kai Yuen Leung of No. 21 Skidmore College by a score of 3-6, 6-0, 10-6 in the Round of 16 of the Middlebury Invitational on Sept. 19, 2015.... Advanced to the Round of 16 in the 2015 USTA/ITA Division III Men's New England Regional Championship, defeating opponents from No. 30 Brandeis and No. 29 Trinity along the way.... Knocked off opponents from No. 30 Brandeis and No. 15 Amherst to advance to the semifinals of the Wallach Invitational.... Opened the spring season with a 7-6 (2), 2-6, 6-4 victory over No. 26 nationally ranked Graham Maassen of No. 9 Pomona-Pitzer College at No. 2 singles on Feb. 24, 2016.... Defeated No. 25 nationally ranked Chase Lipscomb of No. 18 Redlands 6-3, 7-6 (3) at No. 2 singles on Feb. 27, 2016.... Earned first career victory at No. 1 singles against Babson College's Roberto Perez by a count of 6-4, 6-1 on March 4, 2016.... Earned a 6-4, 6-7 (5), 6-2 win at No. 2 singles over No. 47 nationally ranked Alex Cauneac of No. 19 MIT on March 5, 2016.... Won four straight matches at No. 1 singles from March 18, 2016-April 3, 2016, including victories over opponents ranked 28th, 46th and 43rd in the nation.... Won three straight NESCAC matches from April 22, 2016-April 27, 2016 to conclude the regular season on a strong note.... In regular season finale Rosen defeated No. 17 nationally ranked Luke Tercek from No. 1 nationally ranked Bowdoin by a score of 6-4, 2-6, 10-5.... After nearly a month off, Rosen opened the NCAA Championships on May 26, 2016 by defeating No. 39 nationally ranked Arthur Fagundes of No. 23 University of Texas at Tyler by a count of 6-2, 6-1.... Followed that up with a 6-3, 2-6, 6-1 victory in the Round of 16 over No. 11 nationally ranked Christopher Krimbill of No. 8 Case Western Reserve University.... Season came to an end in the national quarterfinals against No. 1 nationally ranked Skyler Butts of No. 6 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps with Rosen falling 6-3, 6-2.
2014-15: Played the vast majority of the year at No. 3 doubles as a first-year.... Finished the year with a doubles record of 6-9 in dual matches.... Teamed with Adam Schwartz to defeat Sam Crawford and Kevin Wei of No. 9 Pomona-Pitzer by a score of 8-2 on Feb. 18, 2015.... Teamed with Schwartz again to defeat Nikolas Marino and Bryan Mehall of No. 6 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps by a score of 9-7 on Feb. 21, 2015.... Teamed with Josh Leiner to pick up an 8-4 NESCAC win over Colby College's Shaw Speer and Cameron Hillier on March 17, 2015.... Teamed with Schwartz to earn an 8-4 win over Alec Siegel and Ryan Bunis of No. 30 Brandeis on March 28, 2015.... Signature doubles win came against Chase Savage and Kyle Wolfe of No. 1 nationally ranked Bowdoin, an 8-5 victory on April 9, 2015.... Played mostly at No. 5 singles.... Posted a singles record of 10-6 in dual matches.... Earned first career victory on October 11, 2014 in the Round of 16 at the Wallach Invitational, a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Colby College's Douglas Mo....
