Junior linebacker Adam Cuomo tied for the game-high with 15 tackles in the Bobcats’ near upset of defending NESCAC champion Trinity on Saturday to earn Bobcat of the Week honors for the week of Sept. 16-22.

A native of Plymouth, Mass., Cuomo tallied his career high in tackles after compiling 10 total tackles (five solo) in his first two seasons combined. His 15 tackles tied for the most in the NESCAC in week one.

The Plymouth North High School product made 12 solo stops in the 28-17 loss to the Bantams and registered 3.5 tackles for loss for eight yards.

Cuomo and the Bobcats host their second game in as many weeks when they take on Tufts on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. on Garcelon Field as part of Parents & Family Weekend. The team will look to defeat the Jumbos for the fourth year in a row.
